Tour Itenary :
Upon arrival at Sepinggan Airport in Balikpapan meeting service then connecting flight to Tarakan for about 45 minutes ( flight depart at 09.45am). Transfer to the port for your journey by speedboat for about 3 hours to Derawan Island. Dinner and overnight at Cottage/ Similar. Meals provided.
Early in the morning by speedboat to visit Sanggalaki Island which is called the Capital of The Mantas Rays, many kinds of exotic fish could be seen in this area like the Mantas, Napoleons, purple sea horses, tunitates, dwarf scorpion fishes, and not to forget the Coral Sea Garden which is still in tact. Evening if we are lucky, we can see turtle laying the eggs at Derawan island.
Early in the morning by speedboat to visit kakaban the amazing lake in the island, where you may snorks around this lake and play with Jellyfish. Evening if we are lucky, we can see turtle laying the eggs at Derawan island.
Enjoy your breakfast, than departure to Tarakan. Than connection your fligh to Balikpapan for your onward flight. REMARK :
HOW TO GET THERE
From Singapore / Jakarta you can reach Balikpapan very easily. From Jakarta it is better to take morning flight between 06.00 – 08.00 AM Jakarta time with Bouraq; Lion Air, Kartika Air, Air Asia, Adam Air and Garuda Indonesia, so you can connect nicely with Trigana Balikpapan – Berau 10.45 - 12.10
Silk Air/Singapore Airlines has daily flight to Balikpapan. At the mean time taking Mon/Wed/Thu and Saturday Singapore – Balikpapan 07.55 – 10.15 is the best so you can connect with flight Balikpapan to Berau by Trigana at the same day. My staff will always at Balikpapan and Berau / Tarakan airport to meet you upon your arrival, help cheking in and reconfirmation. For Arriving via Tarakan : There is a handling fee at USD. 35/return
